As-cast or machined: define your supply scope — Anxin manufacturing portfolio
01

As-cast components

The supply scope focuses on the casting and agreed post-processing. Do not assume that mating surfaces, bores or threads are finished.

02

Rough-machined components

Rough machining removes material on specified features while leaving allowance for later operations. Define the remaining allowance and reference datums.

03

Finish-machined components

The quotation should identify the final features, tolerances, surface finish and inspection scope. Not every casting in a product portfolio automatically has the same machining capability.

04

Agree a measurable handover

Clarify responsibility for each operation and acceptance check. Include marking, protection and packaging requirements in the purchase specification.
